This lovely and charming three-bedroom Boothbay Harbor vacation rental is perched on a hilltop overlooking the harbor below, with some ocean and lighthouse views.

The Historic Harrington House is just one block from Boothbay Harbor shops, restaurants, art galleries, and the stunning Atlantic Ocean. You'll be just over 16 miles away from the nearby community of Damariscotta and about 13 miles from Wiscasset.

Out front, you'll find a large stone patio complete with comfortable lounge furniture, the perfect place to enjoy the cool ocean breeze with a cup of coffee or a summer cocktail. The front yard is perfect for lawn games. Head inside to discover a classic New England getaway with lots of natural light cascading in through numerous windows. The spacious living room boasts cool gray tones, comfortable furniture, and burnished hardwood floors. You can easily settle in for some lively conversation after a day of sightseeing around town.

Admire the whale artwork as you head into the full kitchen that includes stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the cookware and utensils to satisfy the chef in you. The lovely dining room offers a built-in hutch filled with barware and glasses for your custom summer cocktails, and a perfect setting for an impromptu seafood feast with friends at the six-seat wooden dining room table. On the back deck, you'll find outdoor seating and a gas and charcoal grill for those lazy evening barbecues while you take in the fresh ocean air.

At the back of the house, you'll find a large family room with an oversized striped sectional sofa, hardwood floors, and a 55" Smart TV. The large picture window looks out onto the back deck. For entertainment, you will find a movie library for those fun movie nights with lots of hot buttered popcorn. This home also includes WiFi so you can easily check emails or use your laptop to stream movies online. There is also a full bath and laundry on the main level.

Head upstairs to check out the three bedrooms and one full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed enveloped in a printed blue-and-white coverlet, a white armchair, and light blue walls. A second bedroom with a nautical theme features two twin beds, perfect for kids or easily pushed together for a couple. There is also a loft for hours of fun. The third bedroom is perfect for a young family as it has one queen bed and a queen air mattress, two built-in dressers, and a desk for those who want to spend some time working or writing. Additional amenities include window air conditioning in every room, games, books, an Atari gaming system, and an outdoor fire pit for telling ghost stories and making after-dinner S'mores.

Boothbay Harbor is the preeminent destination in the Boothbay Region. You'll find cozy seaside eateries, lovely mom-and-pop shops, a saltwater taffy factory, a local brewery, antiques, and lots of galleries on a quick walk down the hill. Stroll through the streets and admire the local works, walk across the harbor on the footbridge or head out on a whaling tour or fishing expedition via one of the many charters in the area. The Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) offers plenty of hiking trails for all levels, several are a walk from the home. There is a working Lighthouse tour, a llama farm, an aquarium, and a world-renowned botanical garden all just a 5-10 minute drive from the home.

No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. - The property shall not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation. - All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. - If early check-in is available for your reservation, you will be notified by 9 a.m. on the morning of your arrival by email. Late check-out is offered whenever possible for a small fee. - No smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises. - No commercial photography or filming is permitted on the property. Tents or other structures may not be erected. - Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy. - Due to local laws, regulations, or Homeowner Association rules, guests may be required to agree to additional terms of service.
