Though the beach will be calling your name each day, venturing out a bit will provide ample amusement away from the sand! Simply walk over to Fort Matanzas National Monument, sitting less than a half-mile from the complex, and check out the historic exhibits. For a leisurely walk, Fort Matanzas Overlook Trail is right across the street.
