And, with a great location just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and plenty of room to spread out both outside and in, this dog- and family-friendly three bedroom house is the perfect place to call home base during your trip. With a boardwalk at the end of the street leading to the beach and access to a community pool, no one will blame you if you don’t venture far. If you do want to explore, Cape San Blas offers 15 miles of truly pristine beaches, fishing, kayaking, and boating opportunities, and lots of locally owned restaurants, and the charming fishing community of Apalachicola is just 20 miles to the east.

At the home itself, your outdoor space includes a large deck and an enclosed sunroom, perfect perches for a good book and a glass of wine. Inside, high ceilings, light colors, nautical decor, and lots of natural light enhance the beach-vacation vibe. The large, open layout combines the full kitchen, living room, and dining area, making it ideal for entertaining or just gathering with your group. The well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of appliances and plenty of counter space, including a standalone kitchen island, and everyone can dine together at the adjacent table or barstools.

After a day at the beach, use the outdoor shower downstairs to rinse off the sand, and then relax together in the central AC. Evening entertainment options at home include free WiFi, cable, and three streaming-capable TVs, but the best way to pass the night is back outside on your deck, admiring the clear night sky over the Cape.
