About This Home
Shell Beach

Escape to The Sea Ranch and this blissful three-bedroom, two-bath home just steps away from the Pacific Ocean. You'll have water views throughout the interior and plenty of window seats for reading, relaxing, or just watching the waves. You'll also have a private hot tub and access to Sea Ranch's three rec centers with seasonal pools and tennis courts. This home also allows two dogs, so your furry family members can come along too. Nestled in a cluster of homes near the Bluff Trail, this tranquil escape offers a great location just a three-minute walk from Shell Beach, and an equally short walk to Tidepool Beach’s seal rookery. The playground area is a five-minute walk to the north.

Inside, you'll find classic wood-paneled walls and plenty of places to sit back and contemplate life. The living room features attractive décor, a wood-burning stove, as well as a large flatscreen TV with a DVD player, a Roku, and stereo sound. The full kitchen includes major appliances and is well stocked for preparing vacation meals. There's even a dishwasher for easier clean-up. You can pick up groceries at Surf Market in Gualala, grill out on the deck, and enjoy a seafood feast around the dining room table for dinner.

On sunny days, sit out on one of the four decks that overlook the ocean view. Or, spend chilly coastal evenings soaking in the hot tub within the enclosed deck and garden. No matter how you spend your time, the whole group will feel right at home here! At night, three bedrooms have one king and two queens - ideal for up to six guests. All bedrooms are cozy and inviting, the large primary with its own gas fireplace and window seat.

You will also have a washer/dryer so you can stay up on laundry needs during your stay. Sea Ranch offers a one-of-a-kind experience on the stunning Northern California Coast. This coastal community is an oasis of natural landscaping, rocky shoreline, wildlife, and meandering bluff trails through old-growth hedgerows and wide-open spaces.

If you don't feel like cooking during your stay, stop by Trinks Cafe on a Wednesday or Friday for one of their dinner nights, or keep heading north on Highway 1 to St. Orres, one of the area's most unique restaurants.

Day trips can include Mendocino about 55 miles north or spend the day closer to home and wine tasting just up Annapolis Road off Highway 1. Sea Ranch itself offers rec centers for pools and tennis, rocky beaches with tide pools, trails including Monarch Glen for butterfly viewing, and even golf at the Sea Ranch Golf Links. Get away to the stunning California Coast and Sonoma County with a rejuvenating stay at this comfortable and family-friendly Shell Beach home at The Sea Ranch.
