This gorgeous 1870 historic cottage along the Seneca Wine Lake Trail is full of rich history (including the original woodwork and high ceilings) and sits on a beautiful piece of land that's perfect for your lakeside getaway. (Please note: the dock belongs to the neighbors and is not a part of this property.) Take a canoe out on the lake to enjoy every bit of the glittering waters. Experience the gorgeous sunrises of the area by sitting on the screened porch, home to lovely lake views. There's a beautiful, large, flat lawn to enjoy. Evenings provide breathtaking stargazing you won't soon forget!

Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. The living area is filled with rich history - curl up on the plush furniture to take in a movie on the large TV, or indulge in a good book. Prepare grand meals and lake picnic snacks in the full kitchen, equipped with all the cupboard room you'll ever need. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, with ample room for personal effects. It's easy to enjoy a winery tour, with over 60 wineries in the area! The Seneca Lake trailhead is under a mile away. Experience a truly unique stay when you rest your head at this beautiful cottage, and step back in time to your most unforgettable vacation ever.

THINGS TO KNOW
One rowboat and one canoe are available for guests to use. Kayaks and paddleboards are available to rent at the nearby marina.
The dock belongs to the neighbors and is not a part of this property.
A coffee maker and small electric heaters are available for guest use.
Guests can enjoy lawn games and swimming on this property, as well as make a beach fire.
The water source is well water. Purchasing bottled water and ice may be preferred for drinking.
Please drive slowly around the cottages for safety and to keep the dust down.
Life jackets are required by local laws for each person in the rowboat or canoe. Life jackets are provided for the capacity of each boat. Water shoes are recommended.
The iron and ironing board may only be used in the kitchen or dining room for electrical safety.
Dogs must have a leash outside, and waste must be picked up and removed.
This vacation rental does not feature air-conditioning.

UNIT SPECIFIC TERMS - Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. - 2 dog(s), weighing 40lbs or less, are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. - The property shall not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation. - All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. - If early check-in is available for your reservation, you will be notified by 9 a.m. on the morning of your arrival by email. Late check-out is offered whenever possible for a small fee. - No smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises. - No commercial photography or filming is permitted on the property. Tents or other structures may not be erected. - Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy. - Permit ID: 2022-STR-6 - Tax ID: YAT0558 - Due to local laws, regulations, or Homeowner Association rules, guests may be required to agree to additional terms of service. A signed paper contract is required to be completed and returned to Vacasa. - Property Specific terms: This Agreement is between you and Vacasa New York LLC, acting for itself and for the Owner. RECREATIONAL AMENITY LIABILITY ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND WAIVER This Recreational Amenity Liability Acknowledgment and Waiver (this “Waiver”) is hereby incorporated as Unit-Specific Terms into the Vacation Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) for rental of the vacation rental property specified in the Agreement (“Property”). In consideration for the right to use the Property, and the recreational and other amenities described in this Waiver, Renter agrees to inform all other guests and persons accessing the Property (collectively, “Occupants”) of the terms of this Waiver, and to ensure that all Occupants understand and comply with the Waiver terms. I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT A. Recreational Amenities The Property may allow guest access to or use of the following recreational amenities (the “Recreational Amenities”): (1) access to the shoreline of a lake, bay, or other body of water; (2) a dock; and (3) one or more canoes, kayaks or other unpowered watercraft (boats). Due to a variety of factors, including weather and water conditions, these Recreational Amenities may not be functional or safely usable at the time of your stay. In addition, do not climb the bank behind the cottage or into the glens. There is poison ivy that is difficult to detect. Use of Shoreline or Boats ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SHORELINE AREA OR DOCK, USE OF THE BOATS, OR SWIMMING OR WADING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Renter and Occupants acknowledge that access to and use of the shoreline area or dock and use of the boats can be dangerous, and that swimming, wading and boating are inherently dangerous recreational activities with risk of BODILY INJURY AND DEATH (including but not limited to drowning and hypothermia). Access to the shoreline area, use of the dock, and swimming or wading in the water may be hazardous due to water temperature or conditions and the possible presence of natural and artificial hazards and obstacles. The lake is very deep and the bottom drops off quickly. There are submerged dock piles off the end of the point which are a boating and swimming hazard. Water shoes are recommended due to sharp zebra mussels and stones. Renter and Occupants agree to assume all of the risks, known and unknown, associated with the use of or access to the shoreline or dock and swimming, wading or boating. Renter and Occupants agree to take all necessary preventative measures to avoid risks of injury and death, including the use personal flotation devices. Life jackets are required by local laws for each person in the rowboat or canoe. Life jackets are provided for the capacity of each boat. Stay aware of weather conditions at all times as thunderstorms can come up unexpectedly and the lake can go from calm to very rough in minutes. Immediately leave the water if thunder is heard. RENTER AND OCCUPANTS SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT NO LIFEGUARD IS PRESENT AND THAT THESE CONDITIONS COULD POSE A SPECIAL RISK TO CHILDREN. Children under the age of 18 should be supervised by an adult at all times when near the shoreline or in the water. II. WAIVER AND RELEASE; INDEMNIFICATION RENTER AND OCCUPANTS HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO BRING SUIT AGAINST THE OWNER AND VACASA, INCLUDING ANY PARENT, SUBSIDIARY, AND AFFILIATED COMPANIES, AND THEIR OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES (collectively, “Released Parties”) FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OF THE RECREATIONAL AMENITIES OR FROM THE POTENTIAL HAZARDS DESCRIBED IN THIS WAIVER. ADDITIONALLY, RENTER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FROM RENTER, OCCUPANTS, THIRD PARTIES, OR THEIR HEIRS OR NEXT OF KIN THAT RESULT IN ANY LOSSES, COSTS (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES), DAMAGES OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF THE RECREATIONAL AMENITIES OR FROM THE POTENTIAL HAZARDS DESCRIBED IN THIS WAIVER. DAMAGE WAIVER The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee (USD) with the following costs, plus tax if applicable: 0 bedrooms: $60 for stays 1-3 nights, $15 per night for stays 4+ nights. 1 bedrooms: $60 for stays 1-3 nights, $15 per night for stays 4+ nights. 2 bedrooms: $80 for stays 1-3 nights, $20 per night for stays 4+ nights. 3 bedrooms: $100 for stays 1-3 nights, $25 per night for stays 4+ nights. 4 bedrooms: $100 for stays 1-3 nights, $25 per night for stays 4+ nights. 5 bedrooms: $120 for stays 1-3 nights, $30 per night for stays 4+ nights. 6 bedrooms: $120 for stays 1-3 nights, $30 per night for stays 4+ nights. 7 bedrooms: $140 for stays 1-3 nights, $35 per night for stays 4+ nights. 8 bedrooms: $140 for stays 1-3 nights, $35 per night for stays 4+ nights. The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to Vacasa prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. How to Report Damage Please report accidental damage as soon as it occurs so we can assess and minimize the extent of the damages. Damage Waiver Additional Terms and Conditions The Damage Waiver only covers damage that occurs during the authorized rental period and that Renter or an authorized guest reports PRIOR TO CHECK OUT. The Damage Waiver does not cover intentional damage or damage caused by smoking, pets or other animals brought onto the Property, or criminal activity. The Damage Waiver does not cover damage to any structure other than the Property covered by your confirmed, non-fraudulent reservation. Renter is responsible for any accidental damage that exceeds $3,000. Damages for covered claims in excess of $3,000 or for uncovered claims will be charged to the Renters credit card. The Damage Waiver program is provided and administered by Vacasa and is not an insurance policy.
