Watch the sun come up over Lake Winnipesaukee at this light-filled guesthouse on Long Island, beautifully positioned with a view of the water, the treetops, and the mountains in the distance. Spend your days walking to the beach up the road, launching your kayaks from the dock, and dining alfresco in the cool breezes wafting off the lake.

This guesthouse sits just behind a lakefront home, with which it shares its property and the 25-foot dock on the grounds (one side of the dock is available to you). Here on the north side of the island, it's a quick stroll (half a mile) to Long Island Beach and an easy drive to both Center Harbor (nine miles) and Moultonborough (10 miles).

Begin each morning with coffee at sunrise on the elevated deck, and set the outdoor table for breakfast beneath the umbrella. After a day of paddleboarding or fishing for rainbow trout, use the gas grill on the side patio to prepare dinner and gather back upstairs on the deck for cocktails and card games.

The single-story interior is bright and open, with views of the lake and trees framed by walls of glass. At the heart of the house is a spacious great room, bringing together a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with a Roku TV. Central air, a washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

NOISE: Unreasonable noise is never permitted in residential areas. Quiet hours are 10 pm, and before 8 am. Any noise that can be heard from more than 50 feet away is considered unreasonable. Noise should not be audible outside of home during quiet hours. PARKING: The number of parking spaces is limited to those designated for your specific vacation home. Cars must be parked in the driveway or the garage. Street parking is never allowed. OCCUPANCY: Cannot exceed the maximum number allowed at ANY TIME. EVENTS: No weddings, gatherings, parties or other events are allowed at vacation home rental at ANY TIME. CAMPING: No camping is allowed. TRASH: Bear Alert! Do not leave trash or food in the car or outside of the home. Vacasa will pick up your trash at the end of your stay. FIREWORKS: Fireworks are never permitted at vacation home rental.
