This getaway is situated 15 miles from downtown South Park in Fairplay, known as the trout fishing capital of Colorado, with more than 50 miles of Gold Medal trout streams. If you’re visiting in the winter, the ski slopes of Breckenridge are about 20-30 miles north, depending on the snow.

At home, spend time relaxing in front of the cozy woodstove while the family chef whips up mealtime masterpieces in the open, full kitchen. There’s plenty of room to dine together at the window-front table, with that same peaceful tree-lined view just outside. After a day of adventures, stay cozy with the upper and lower in-floor radiant heating. Unwind with a little TV or scroll social media with the free WiFi while the washer/dryer takes care of any laundry. End the night back outside on your screened deck or with one last soak in the hot tub and a toast to your good luck at booking such an idyllic mountain escape.
