The Coach House is a one-of-a-kind retreat located on Crocker Ranch, a
1500-acre private working ranch with horses and cattle grazing on the pastures
that surround this beautiful 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom pet friendly home. Enjoy
the feeling of near solitude only 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park.
Experience the stars in the night sky, the birds waking up in the morning and
deer walking through the yard.
Turn off of highway 36, close the gate (keep the cows and horses in) and leave
everyday life behind. Drive through the trees and across the pasture, park at
The Coach House and let the vacation begin.
Enter the home into the kitchen and dining area. The wrap around windows make
this room feel open and sunny. The wood burning fireplace will make it feel
warm and cozy on chilly evenings. This large kitchen, with lots of counter
space, has everything you need to make great meals for the whole family. The
grill master can show off his skills to add to the culinary delights. Gather
around the dining table or the picnic table on the deck and reconnect over
dinner.
Walk through to the living area, comfy seating for everyone in front of a
second wood burning fireplace. There is a TV on the mantle, making this a
great place to gather for family movie night.
If you like a little family competition, try out the pool table. The game
table in the sun room is the perfect place to disconnect from technology and
spend the evening playing games.
The bedrooms on the main level are great for mom, dad and a couple of kids.
The queen bedroom is connected to the two twins bedroom via a sliding glass
door. The bathroom for the main level has a shower tub combo and is accessed
through the queen bedroom.
Upstairs are the third and fourth bedrooms each with a king bed and an ensuite
bathroom with shower tub combo. Plenty of room for everyone to get a good
night’s sleep for tomorrow’s adventure.
Wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee on the deck. No need to hurry.
Take your time, listen to the birds. Spend the day watching for wildlife,
feeling the sun on your face, breathing in the smell of the pine trees. Gaze
at the stars with no streetlights to wash out their beauty.
About the Ranch
The land on which Crocker Ranch sits was originally settled by R.E. Stuyvesant
in 1872. The land was subsequently purchased by the ranch’s namesake, Frank
Crocker who made this his summer home until his death in 1932.
Situated in the valley below Mount Olympus and Park Hill, the Coach House was
the last stagecoach stop on the toll road built by Alexander MacGregor into
the Estes Valley. Traces of this road are still visible on the ranch today. A
beautiful stop along a bumpy dirt road, a difficult ride without the luxury of
modern transportation.
Each guest becomes a part of the story of Crocker Ranch. From the travelers
who made this their last stagecoach stop on a long arduous ride to Estes Park,
to the cowboys who have herded cattle on these pastures, to those of you who
choose to make your family memories in this home. SkyRun Vacation rentals and
the family who owns this ranch, welcome you to experience the Colorado we
love, wide open, authentic and unforgettable.
As with any amazing experience, you want the something to remember it by. The
best remembrance is not something that will be tucked away in a box but
something you can enjoy with your family at a summer picnic or a family
dinner. Crocker Ranch Beef is just that type of remembrance. Crocker Ranch
Beef can be purchased by ordering it from the man who tends the cattle. We are
not able to include a web address or phone number in this listing but a little
research for Crocker Ranch Estes Park will get you the information you need.
Come, relax and enjoy Crocker Ranch.
