Experience Smith Mountain Lake in The Cabin on the Cove, a gorgeous dog-friendly log home located on a five-acre wooded lot providing privacy, yet also convenient to restaurants, marinas, and shopping. This spacious and well-appointed home has plenty of room for a large family and offers a true lake atmosphere with wood beams and expansive windows for wonderful lake views.

The main level offers a well-equipped kitchen, a great room, a primary suite with a private balcony, and two guest bedrooms that share a bath. The lower level provides another primary suite, a guest suite, a family room, a game area, and a wet bar. The loft area has extra sleeping space as well.

The huge 2,200-square-foot dock gives you plenty of room to tie up your boats or personal watercraft, fish, sunbathe, or just enjoy the view. Swimming and floating is ideal in this wide water cove.

Also, this home offers plenty of opportunities to keep everyone entertained with seven TVs, shuffleboard, foosball, air hockey, electronic darts, Xbox (bring your own games), and a canoe.

For those who prefer a more laidback vacation, there is a hammock on the deck to enjoy the summer breeze, a covered porch for shade, and a lower patio for grilling (gas grill and flat-top gas grill available).

No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. - The property shall not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation. - All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. - If early check-in is available for your reservation, you will be notified by 9 a.m. on the morning of your arrival by email. Late check-out is offered whenever possible for a small fee. - No smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises. - No commercial photography or filming is permitted on the property.
