Living Room:
An open and welcoming space, the living room at this house on the water boasts
high ceilings with plenty of natural light and beautiful lake views. Hardwood
floors flow throughout, and the spacious area rug adds comfort to the room.
Plop on one of the two loveseats for a rest while you watch your favorite show
on the flat-screen TV after your travels or afternoon play in the lake. Read a
book or play tic tac toe while taking it easy in one of the two modern,
leather chairs. Downstairs, you'll find a second, quaint living room that
boasts a large projector with surround sound to stream your favorite movies
and two arcade game (a stand up pac-man and golden tee). Set out snacks and
drinks on the coffee table for movie night or chill with a glass of wine. Here
you can also enjoy more views of the lake plus access to the lower level deck!

Kitchen/ Dining Room:
The kitchen is open concept to the living and features everything from
stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space to a porcelain sink and
a breakfast bar. Store fresh ingredients, whip up family recipes, bake Smoky
Mountain treats, brew coffee anytime, and let the dishwasher help with
cleanups. The dining area at this Douglas Lake house is just off the kitchen
and has a natural-style wooden table with matching chairs and a bench.
Combined with the kitchen bar stools and living room seating, everyone can
chat and eat together. Dish towels, starter soap, and starter dishwasher pods
are provided.

Game Room:
Get ready to level up your vacation fun at our Game Room! This ultimate play
space is stocked with two classic arcade games, perfect for a blast from the
past or a friendly family competition. But that's not all - we're talking BIG,
folks! Our Life-Size Connect Four game is a game-changer (pun intended).

Outdoor Spaces:
Step into the great outdoors at "Above the Cove". There are 2 decks
overlooking the gorgeous view of Douglas Lake. Enjoy beautiful scenes of the
lake and mountains from all levels of the house. Head down to the seasonal
lake to splash, swim, fish, and play all day! And don't forget to bring all
your fun water favorites: tubes, canoes, and kayaks. Not feeling the lake?
Walk down to the community pool and swim or enjoy the recreation room. Fire up
the gas grill for fun family cookouts by the water. When you want to venture
into town, the flat driveway boasts parking for 2 vehicles, and roads to and
from this semi-private house are flat and paved for easier travel into
downtown Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.

Location/ Roads / Parking:
Above The Cove is accessible by vehicle or motorcycle in a gated community.
There is level parking for 2 vehicles. It is just 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge,
30 minutes to Gatlinburg, and 45 minutes to the Smoky Mountains. On Winfield
Dunn Parkway, you will find Publix, Food City, and Weigels. With such an
excellent location, you're just a short drive from everything in downtown
Sevierville and Pigeon Forge.

the Cove keeps you within reach of the many fun and entertaining attractions
downtown. Visit unique animals, ride mountain coasters, putt-putt to your
heart's content, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, peruse
museums, and oh-so-much more! Plus, you can sample Southern wines, cider, and
moonshine, enjoy local cuisine, and shop until you drop at tons of eateries
and restaurants. For more outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky
Mountains National Park only a hop, skip, and a jump away. Hike to waterfalls,
horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish together!

Special Dates:
Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check
in or outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve,
or New Years Day.

Lake: Water levels vary throughout the year. During winter months, the water
is drained, and beginning in April, it starts to fill. By the end of May, it
is completely filled.

Check-In:
4pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin. Once all your
payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code & we
will resend it a week before your stay.
